Books Read: Holly Martin - One Hundred Christmas Proposals

If you thought Harry & Suzie’s life couldn't get anymore sweepingly romantic than Harry asking her to marry him at the end of One Hundred Proposals – think again!

It’s Christmas in a snow-kissed London, and the.PerfectProposal.com have vowed to carry out one hundred proposals in December. No easy task at the best of times - made even more complicated by Harry & Suzie trying to plan their first Christmas and a visit from the dreaded in-laws. But one hundred deliciously Christmassy proposals later they find themselves asking if everything is still perfect in their own relationship…

Earlier this Summer I read and fell in love with Harry and Suzie's story in One Hundred Proposals so when I heard that Holly Martin was writing a Christmas follow up continuing their story I couldn't wait to read it.

The story picks up six months later and sees Harry and Suzie's business, perfectproposal.com, going from strength to strength as well as their own relationship.  But with the run up to Christmas being their busiest time of the year, especially with Harry's plan to blog about one hundred proposals during December culminating in the ultimate romantic proposal on New Years Eve, will they have time to plan their own wedding?

Well what can I say, Holly has definitely done it again as this was another story that I literally read in one go,  I loved reading about the planning and romance of all the proposals and the combination of adding blogging into the book as Holly is a huge supporter of bloggers and it was great to see some familiar names appear as characters for some of the proposals.

And even though I have heard some say that the ending was predictable, for me it was the perfect ending that I had been anticipating... My only grumble was that it was over before I knew it, I could have carried on reading their story forever especially as romance is sadly lacking in my own life!

I'd like to thank Holly for inviting me to be part of her blog tour and sending me a copy of her book to review.  Fortunately I don't have too long to wait for a new book from her as her next book Lessons in Love is due to be published early 2015.
