Chrissie Manby Book Launch & Giveaway for a copy of A Proper Family Adventure

It's not very often that you get invited for a VIP tour round a luxury cruise ship so when I received an invite to the book launch for Chrissie Manby's latest book, A Proper Family Adventure, which was taking place on board the Royal Princess in Southampton it was too good an invite to turn down especially as it was so close to home.  So having swapped my day off work, this morning I headed off on the train to Southampton for what was to be a fantastic event.  Thank you Hodder Books & Chrissie for the invite and Princess Cruises for the wonderful hospitality.

Sadly the weather wasn't playing ball today and it was a dreary grey day but the Royal Princess still shone in all her glory as you approached the docks.

Having never been on a cruise ship before I had no idea what to expect but it was luxury overload from the very moment we boarded.

After the tour was completed we went into the Princess Live Studio for a Q&A session with Chrissie to find out a little more about her writing process and of course her Proper Family series of books.  The good news is there is one final book to come in this series which is due to be published in November, A Wedding at Christmas.

And if all of this was not enough to spoil us we were treated to a sumptious 3-course lunch in one of their specialty restaurants Sabatini's (sadly I was too busy sampling the food to take any photos so you'll have to make do with the menu if you can read it).

As we disembarked (I'm getting the hang of this cruising jargon) we were each given a Princess Cruises goodie bag which included a copy of A Proper Family Adventure, bottle of moisturiser, Princess Cruises thumb drive, postcards & a bookmark.

As I already have a review copy of A Proper Family Adventure I have decided to share the love and run a giveaway for this duplicate copy.  Although this is book three in the Proper Family series it can be read as a standalone although I would personally recommend you read A Proper Family Holiday and A Proper Family Christmas first to get to know the family and their complicated relationships.

Could you spend two weeks at sea with your family?

Thanks to an unexpected windfall, the Bensons are treating themselves to a luxury cruise. With stop-offs in Barcelona, Rome and Marseilles, plus constant entertainment onboard, it's a dream come true . . . Or is it? Last time Chelsea Benson went on holiday with this lot she nearly went crazy.

Her mum and sister are convinced Chelsea's boyfriend Adam will propose on the ship. Chelsea's sure he won't, but she can't help feeling butterflies as they set sail. Is Adam going to pop the question, or will the only thing to pop be Chelsea's ego?
Enter via the Rafflecopter form below. The winner will be selected on 28th August and contacted for their postal address to enable me to post the book to you.
