If I'm honest I wouldn't typically choose to read historical fiction so as my TBR is overflowing I have decided to set up a promotional post and giveaway instead. Check out the trailer below.
THE WOMAN HAUNTED BY THE FATE OF HER PREDECESSOR.
Eleven days after the death of Anne Boleyn, Jane is dressing for her wedding to the King.
She has witnessed at first hand how courtly play can quickly turn to danger and knows she must bear a son . . . or face ruin.
This new Queen must therefore step out from the shadows cast by Katherine and Anne - in doing so, can she expose a gentler side to the brutal King?
JANE SEYMOUR
THE THIRD OF HENRY'S QUEENS
HER STORY
History tells us how she died.
This spellbinding novel explores the life she lived.
SIX TUDOR QUEENS. SIX NOVELS. SIX YEARS.
If you're a history buff and fancy reading this latest from Alison Weir, enter via the Rafflecopter form below. As Jane Seymour, The Haunted Wife is not published until 3rd May I will run the giveaway to finish a couple of days before and will aim to post the book to the winner to arrive on or shortly after publication day.
As with all giveaways on the blog, the giveaway is open to existing followers, sadly I am going to have to restrict this one to UK residents only as it is a heavy paperback so International postage would be too expensive. The winner will be selected at random and contacted for their post address to enable me to post the book to you. NB. Please do not add details of this giveaway to other sites without my permission.

ReplyDeleteI was a big fan of historical fiction a few years ago, especially works set in Tudor times, but it seems to have fallen by the wayside recently in favour of thrillers. You've just reminded me that I miss it!
ReplyDeleteLove historical fiction. This book looks fascinating.
