On Wednesday night I headed up to London for the latest Rooftop Book Club event which featured Chrissie Manby, Sheila O'Flanagan and Beth O'Leary talking about their books with Nina Pottell, the Books Editor at Prima magazine.
I've been to several of these evenings since the Rooftop Book Club was set up a few years ago, although this was the first one I have been to this year due to work commitments, and they're always fun and entertaining. I love hearing authors talk passionately about books, their writing and inspirations/research for their novels and this Girls' Night In was no exception.
In particular it was interesting to see how their perspectives might differ based on Beth being a debut author, and Chrissie and Sheila who between them have written an astonishing 40+ books... most of which I have read!
At the end of the evening we were able to chat to the authors and get books signed which brings me to today's giveaway. As I already had an ecopy of Chrissie Manby's Three Days in Florence, which I read for the review, I asked Chrissie to sign the paperback copy I had also been sent to offer it as a giveaway prize. I'm also going to throw in this gorgeous Rooftop Book Club tote bag as I already have a couple from previous events (apologies it got a bit creased in my overnight bag!).
