Today it's my pleasure to be hosting one of the blog tour slots for Bound, the latest in the Sam Shephard series by Vanda Symon. Although I knew I wouldn't be in a position to review it this month I still wanted to show my support so was generously offered a giveaway slot for the chance to win a paperback copy, sorry UK only this time.
The New Zealand city of Dunedin is rocked when a wealthy and apparently respectable businessman is murdered in his luxurious home while his wife is bound and gagged, and forced to watch. But when Detective Sam Shephard and her team start investigating the case, they discover that the victim had links with some dubious characters.
The case seems cut and dried, but Sam has other ideas. Weighed down by her dad's terminal cancer diagnosis, and by complications in her relationship with Paul, she needs a distraction, and launches her own investigation.
And when another murder throws the official case into chaos, it's up to Sam to prove that the killer is someone no one could ever suspect.
If you follow me on social media you'll know I'm a proud member of #TeamOrenda and for my 50th birthday this year I have signed up to the Orenda Books monthly subscription package at Berts Books. As a result I received a copy of Bound earlier this month which I'm looking forward to hopefully reading during my Easter break.
If Bound sounds like a book you'd like to read, and if you've not read the other Sam Shephard books I'd highly recommend them as well, then enter via the form below.

Throwing my name into the ring because I have loved this series by Vanda. Reading about Dunedin brings back memories of a holiday there two years ago.
