Today it's my pleasure to be hosting one of the stops on the Whisper of the Seals blog tour, book 3 in the Detective Moralès series, by Roxanne Bouchard which has been translated into English by David Warriner.
Although I knew I was not going to be in a position to review this book for the blog tour organised by Anne at Random Things Tours, I still wanted to offer my support by hosting this giveaway for a paperback copy of the book instead (sorry this giveaway is restricted to UK residents only).

Fisheries officer Simone Lord is transferred to Quebec’s remote Magdalen Islands for the winter, and at the last minute ordered to go aboard a trawler braving a winter storm for the traditional grey seal hunt, while all of the other boats shelter onshore.
Detective Sergeant Joaquin Moralès is on a cross-country boat trip down the St Lawrence River, accompanied by Nadine Lauzon, a forensic psychologist working on the case of a savagely beaten teenager with Moralès’ old team in Montreal.
When it becomes clear that Simone is in grave danger aboard the trawler, the two cases converge, with startling, terrifying consequences for everyone involved…
I still haven't caught up with this series, despite buying copies of the first 2 books in the Detective Moralès series, but will do so sooner rather than later.
