Today I'm delighted to welcome fellow blogger Carol, from Dizzy C's Little Blog, to take part in a festive fun Q&A.
What’s your earliest or favourite Christmas memory?
Christmas Eve, putting a mince pie and milk out for Father Christmas and a carrot for the
reindeer. Then not being able to sleep for worrying about a stranger coming down the chimney.
Do you do the whole traditional Christmas dinner or have alternative?
For several years we had beef rather than turkey for dinner, but last year and this we are plumping for a turkey crown.
What’s your favourite Christmas song or carol?
Slade – Merry Christmas Everybody , Carol has to be Silent Night
What film do you hope to curl up and watch on Christmas afternoon?
Elf – every year, has to be Elf
Do you have a favourite Christmas book that you read again and again?
Not one particular book but have to read a Trisha Ashley and a Carole Matthews seasonal book every year
Which singer/band would you like to turn up carol singing at your door?
Has to be Robbie Williams and Take That
Which celebrity would you like to snog under the mistletoe?
Oh no hesitation here, Ryan Reynolds.
If you could spend Christmas anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Somewhere snowy, we don't very often get those postcard white christmases
What’s top of your wishlist this Christmas?
Haven't even thought about that this year. So busy getting presents for everyone else :)
If you could do one good deed for someone less fortunate than yourself this Christmas, what would it be?
Give someone who is lonely company. I always think of those who spend Christmas alone when the streets are full of shoppers and the carols are blaring out.
Now a few quickfire questions to finish...
Tree: real or artificial? Artificial
Fairy Lights: White or MultiColoured? Multicoloured
Drink: Mulled Wine or Bucks Fizz? Bucks Fizz
Food: Mince Pies or Xmas Pud? Both!
Games: Monolopy, Trivial Pursuit or something else? AJ (aged 6) is in charge of the family games. I go with his choices of Monopoly, Millionaire Drop, Mastermind, Pop to the shops etc
My favourite Christmas reads are:
Cuddly Dudley by Jez Alborough with AJ (aged 6)
Christmas Deliverance – Amanda Egan
The Magic of Christmas – Trisha Ashley
Wrapped up in You – Carole Matthews
Driving Home for Christmas – Emma Hannigan
