I can't believe that it was almost two weeks ago since I went to the Crime Writers Panel as part of the Salisbury Literary Festival to see Louise Voss in conversation with fellow crime/thriller writers Clare Empson, Jane Corry and Sarah Hilary.
It was a very entertaining evening and it always amazes me how seemingly normal women can write such dark and disturbing stories and this panel of authors was no different. At the end of the night I got Louise to sign the copy of her latest book The Old You which I had bought as a giveaway prize for these blogiversary celebrations. I had originally intended to read and review my copy of the book alongside this giveaway but sadly I didn't manage to find any extra hours this week to read the book so I'll be reviewing The Old You at a later date.
