Prime Deception by Carys Jones who has joined me today for a Q&A.
Can you tell us a little bit about your latest book Prime Deception?
Prime Deception is a contemporary thriller set in London. At the start of the story we learn that Lorna Thomas has supposedly committed suicide. What no one knows is that the day after her death she was due to sell a scandalous kiss and tell story to a national tabloid newspaper.
Her twin sister, Laurie, refuses to believe that her sister killed herself and so she travels to London, to the heart of UK government to uncover the truth about Lorna’s demise.
Where did the inspiration come from?
Around the time of the last general election I was struggling to feel interested in the country's politics. I thought that a decent scandal would pique my interest and from that initial thought, Prime Deception was eventually born.
